Ah-Ha Moments

It’s always cool to know you can find valid, valuable information that gives you that special “ah-ha moment.”

#myclients

My new client picked up a follower on a high ticket offer 4 days after I revised the offer for her.

The buyer said she was following her, but her original offer made her feel unsure.

But when she saw the new revised offer, she was pleased and moved forward with the service.

Sometimes we think we know what people want to hear, but a lack of conversions and sales tells the real story!

When done properly, your social media algorithm can generate leads, followers, and friends faster than you can say “Two Step.” Seriously, when your content is appealing to the reader and is optimized for the algorithm to know exactly who to share your content with, the reach is farther and you gain way more engagement!

So you’re tired but know you should post something.

When you sell a service and post a motivational quote, the algorithm will send your post to people interested in motivational quotes. That’s not your ideal client, right? Now in the description area, not the quote on the image, but the description area, that’s where you describe who the quote is for, identify who you want the algorithm to share the quote with.

This message is the same for all social media and websites.

Your header image is your first impression and needs to be original and appealing to the visitor.
So no more throwing up a flyer and only a portion showing as your FB cover… It won’t do! It’s not professional, polished, or appealing. Want a mockup for free? Let’s chat?

Stop sounding like every other salesperson out there. People don’t like being sold to.

Start offering valid, valuable, and useful content. It’s all about the context of your writing.
This allows your visitor to trust you and make better informed decisions. Remember it should be valid, valuable and useful and helpful content. ALWAYS!

There is a difference between real friends and people who request to be friends.

When people friend or follow you, they in fact, like your content enough to imply that it’s okay to interrupt them with your new content. Those people are really WARM LEADS. What are you going to do to nurture them and eventually bring them on as customers or clients?

If you don’t have an email list, start with your friends and followers.

If you want specific details on how to create your list, ask Marilee, she built her email list exclusively from her friends and followers.

Hashtags are still more than just useful. Don’t be a hashtag spammer.

The more the better will get you throttled back, shadow-banned banned and/or deactivated.
Be careful, more isn’t always better.

Being a couch potato seller is not being in business.

Platforms are now taking action against those of you who promise or imply you can make 10K per month type statements.

If you see a drop in reach and engagement, it’s likely the type of claims you’re making. Example Facebook hates before and after pictures of weight loss. Talk about throttling you back. They also dislike “Earn 10K in a month with this technique,” which will also cause a little algorithm attention.

When Betty Crocker first came out with their just add water recipe, it was a flop!

However, bringing in a psychologist revealed that the mom was feeling like it was too easy; she was cheating and wasn’t really cooking for her family.

They simply added “add one egg,” which was an extra expense and product. Sales skyrocketed. What can you do to apply the Betty Crocker Effect for your business, I bet I can help you come up with some…
